Helping Haitians Help Themselves

We strive to transform poor villages into thriving, self-sustaining communities. Since 1999, we have been helping several villages in Haiti become self-sustaining. Villages we have helped include, Boileau, Canon, Flamand & Dumont. We help them help themselves through community leadership, education, micro-credit, agriculture training, medicine, and wells for clean water.

Clean Water

We build wells because clean water is the foundation for life. In Haiti, many communities struggle with contaminated water sources, leading to illness and hardship. A well provides safe, sustainable drinking water, reducing disease, improving hygiene, and freeing families from the daily burden of searching for water. It empowers villages, allowing children to focus on school instead of water collection and farmers to nourish their crops. A single well can transform an entire community, offering dignity, health, and hope for a better future. When we build wells, we don’t just provide water—we provide life.

Boileau Clinic

We fund salaries for the clinic in Boileau because healthcare should never be out of reach. In this village and others nearby, access to medical care can mean the difference between life and loss. By ensuring doctors, nurses, and staff are fairly compensated, we create a reliable, sustainable healthcare system where families receive the treatment they need. This clinic isn’t just a building—it’s a lifeline for the community, providing essential care, preventative medicine, and emergency support. When we invest in salaries, we invest in people—allowing them to heal, thrive, and build a stronger future.

Boileau School

We are building a new school because education should never be lost to disaster. When the earthquake struck in 2021, it devastated the old school, leaving children without a safe place to learn. But education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and we refuse to let destruction stand in the way of their future. This new school will provide stability, hope, and opportunity, ensuring that every child has access to a quality education in a secure environment. By rebuilding, we are not just restoring a structure—we are investing in resilience, in dreams, and in the promise of a better tomorrow.

College Scholarships

We created the Moise Nacier Scholarship Program because education is the foundation of opportunity. Named in honor of a dedicated Haitian Pilgrim, this program helps students pursue their dreams despite financial hardship. In a country where access to higher education is limited, these scholarships open doors to knowledge, career advancement, and community leadership. By investing in these students, we’re not just funding education—we’re empowering future doctors, nurses, agronomists, teachers, engineers, and change-makers who will uplift their families and strengthen their nation. Every scholarship awarded is a step toward breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a brighter future for Haiti.

Lunch Program

We support school lunch programs because no child should have to learn on an empty stomach. Hunger is a barrier to education, making it difficult for students to focus, retain information, and thrive academically. By providing nutritious meals, we ensure that children have the energy and nourishment they need to succeed in school and beyond. A daily meal not only improves health but also encourages attendance, giving students a better chance at breaking the cycle of poverty. When we invest in school lunch programs, we’re investing in brighter futures, stronger communities, and a generation empowered to build a better tomorrow.

Ag & Livestock Micro-Credit Programs

We support micro-credit programs for agriculture and livestock because small investments create lasting change. In Haiti, farmers and livestock owners often lack the resources to grow their businesses, improve food production, and sustain their families. By providing small loans, we empower individuals to purchase seeds, equipment, and animals, fostering self-sufficiency and economic stability. These programs don’t just feed communities—they create jobs, strengthen local markets, and build resilience against hardship. When we invest in micro-credit, we’re not just funding farms—we’re cultivating hope, dignity, and opportunity for generations to come.

Small Business Micro-Credit Programs

We support micro-credit programs for small businesses because entrepreneurship drives community growth. In Haiti, many aspiring business owners lack the financial resources to start or expand their ventures, limiting their ability to provide for their families and create local jobs. Through small loans, we empower individuals to launch businesses, develop sustainable income, and strengthen the economy from the ground up. Whether it’s a market vendor, a tailor, or a carpenter, each entrepreneur contributes to a thriving community. When we invest in micro-credit, we’re not just funding businesses—we’re fostering independence, innovation, and a future filled with opportunity.
